This film was shot for international charity, ActionAid, as part of their fundraising challenge, Mission Malawi. It focuses on the Salima Women’s Network on Gender - a project supporting women finding their voices and independence in a strongly patriarchal society, where so often in the past, their rights have been ignored and violated. SAWEG is working to right those wrongs and empower women to take the lead in the decisions that affect their lives.
